Looking for weekend activities to do in the next fortnight? Seeing as Father’s Day is coming up we thought we might focus on activities that he might enjoy. This ‘What’s On’ feature is for the Dads!

Father’s Day Hot Rod Show in Fremantle

Each year, St Patrick’s Primary School in North Fremantle hosts the Father’s Day Hot Rod Show. The exhibition will be on from 10am to 3pm on Sunday the 6th of September and is hot rod heaven for any vintage car-loving dad!

Tickets: Can be purchased on the day
Exhibition Times: 10am to 3pm
Address: St Patrick Primary School, 8 Ellen St, North Fremantle
Getting there: 30 minutes by car from Perth to North Fremantle
Parking: Street parking is available near the primary school

Father’s Day Sports: Piazza Northbridge

If hot rodding exhibitions are not for your dad, how about a relaxing family day at the Northbridge Piazza instead? The City of Perth is hosting a Father’s Day celebration at the Piazza with family activities scheduled in the afternoon. Sporting activities, face painting and family movies are just some of the events planned. This is a free event and runs from 12pm to 4pm. So why not treat Dad to breakfast in bed then head in to Northbridge for some family fun?
